Noise Generator
Generate 3D noise texture files and download the curl-noise volume for NeutrinoParticles effects
Legacy Turbulence Noise
The volume for the Noise3 block and the Emitter Guide's Turbulence forces and winds, which the editor marks as legacy. For winds and forces in new effects use Curl noise (below).
How to use:
- Enter a random seed number (any integer)
- Click "Generate Noise" and wait for completion
- Preview the animated noise visualization
- Download the generated file
- Use this file with NeutrinoParticles effects

Curl Noise Volume
The Curl Noise block (Curl winds and forces) samples its own volume, separate from the noise above. It has no seed and no settings, so there is nothing to generate here — download the canonical file. The JavaScript runtime can load this file or bake the same volume itself. C# generates the volume itself (MonoGame at start-up, Unity automatically); GPU33 generates it when its context is created.
How to use:
- Host the file next to your game or page.
- JavaScript v1.1 runtime:
context.initializeCurlNoise(url, onLoaded, onFailed), whereurlis the full URL of the file, not a folder. Without the file,context.generateCurlNoise(onLoaded, onFailed)bakes the same volume in the browser in a few seconds. - PIXI, Phaser and Cocos Creator integrations return Promises for both:
await initializeCurlNoise(url)(Phaser plugin:loadCurlNoise(url)) orawait generateCurlNoise(). - MonoGame:
GenerateCurlNoise()at start-up. Unity and GPU33: nothing to do. - Set it up before creating effects that use Curl.
